Jessica Hendricks, MBA, CPCU, CIC, AU, EMC Insurance

Jessica joined EMC in 2007 as Commercial Underwriter in the Des Moines Branch. In 2010, she moved into a field marketing role, then in 2014, she transitioned to the Corporate Office in a product research and development role, then joined the Corporate Marketing department in 2017. Jessica was named Assistant VP in 2018 and VP of Agency Development in 2020. She received a bachelor’s degree in business administration and sports management from Simpson College and a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Iowa. Jessica holds the CPCU and Certified Insurance Counselor CIC designations.

Rene Swan, CIC, United Valley Insurance Services

Rene Swan joined United Valley in 2011, was appointed as Vice President in 2013 and assumed the role of President in 2016. She has enjoyed over 30 years in insurance and financial services, for both retail agencies and property & casualty insurance carriers. She is active on several insurance carrier councils and is on the advisory committee for Insurance Networks Alliance, a national membership group serving insurance agency networks. She earned her Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designation in 2011 and is a graduate and graduate assistant of Dale Carnegie Institute.
